- Key Responsibilities:
- Creating CGI:
Designing and rendering digital characters, environments, and objects using software like Maya, After Effects, Nuke, and Houdini. - Compositing:
Integrating CGI elements with live-action footage, including color correction, lighting, and motion tracking. - Special Effects:
Generating simulations of natural phenomena like fire, explosions, and weather, or creating fantastical elements like magical effects. - Enhancing Footage:
Adjusting lighting, adding blurring, or removing unwanted elements from live-action shots. - Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving technical issues with animations and visual effects. - Collaboration:
Working closely with directors, producers, other artists, and various production teams to ensure the visual effects align with the overall creative vision and technical requirements. - Staying Current:
Keeping up with new techniques, software, and trends in the VFX industry.
Must Have
- Computer able to run visual effects software
- Positivity, energetic, outgoing, ready to take on the world personality
- Experience in the free version of DaVinci Resolve and willing to learn
Nice to have
- Submit a clip of previous work when applying
- Skills in the studio version DaVinci Resolve
- Experience editing production scenes
