Hair Stylist

Key Responsibilities:

• Script Analysis:
  Analyzing the script to understand the hair requirements for each character and scene. 
  
• Design and Testing:
  Developing and testing various hairstyles, including cuts, colors, and styling techniques, often using reference images. 
  
• Team Management:
  Leading and delegating tasks to a team of hairstylists and assistants, especially on larger productions. 
  
• On-Set Styling:
  Maintaining actors' hairstyles during filming, making adjustments between takes and ensuring continuity. 
  
• Wig and Hairpiece Management:
  Applying, maintaining, and styling wigs and hairpieces, ensuring they look natural and consistent. 
  
• Collaboration:
  Working closely with the makeup artist, costume designer, and director to achieve the desired look for each scene. 
  
• Maintaining Standards:
  Ensuring that all hair work is of high quality and meets the director's vision.
